Precise Open Handpiece (BVX-150-BPP/APYX-150-BPP, BVX-044-BPS/APYX044-BPS, BVX-150-BPS/APYX-150-BPS): The blade can be extended out to a maximum of 10mm from the distal tip of the shaft. The Handpiece has 2 buttons – one for activation of plasma energy and one for activation of Cool-Coag energy.
The handpiece is a sterile, single-use electrosurgical (monopolar) device intended to be used in conjunction with compatible electrosurgical generators for the delivery of helium plasma for cutting, coagulation, and ablation of soft tissue.
The handpieces are available with a retractable cutting tip blade for excising tissue.
The Blade tip serves as an electrode to generate helium plasma.
